It’s A Good Time For Superman

“Tell everybody… He hasn’t dropped them
Forgotten or anything
It’s just too heavy for Superman to lift,”

“Is it getting heavy?” Are we feelin’ it yet?? The weight of life in this crazy 21st century?

In a job interview this week I was asked about my blog. And I said, “WordPress has blossomed into a community where I get to exchange art and ideas with people all over the world.” … That’s pretty damn cool if you ask me. So, to my fellow blogger reading this, I am proud to follow you. And Keep up the great work. You inspire me.

I’m trying not to shut down here. It’s hard. I’ve had to work a lot lately to afford rising prices of living. And I am also applying to new jobs at the same time. All I really want to do is make more posts, and movies to share with you!😏

There’s a lot to deal with today. Hang tough. And I hope you have a nice weekend. I’ll try and post again soon.

  1. Hi EF, I would say don’t beat yourself up because you don’t post as often or make as many movies as you want. I find that we all have our limitations of what we can do (even Jedi like me!), not to say that that is final and we should give up but acknowledge sometimes there are things we just can’t do at a precise time. Just keep striving to improve in readiness for when circumstances change to allow you to accomplish a task. You know be a boy scout, be prepared. The wait and “training” can be seen as a trial and they will make whatever you create so much better as you have suffered for the creative process. There is a saying “I smell of smoke because I’ve been through the fires” well, your posts and movies have come from the fires of the creative process and troubles of life making them.
I’d much prefer to read and view fewer really well put together pieces and movies than if you were to spam your work making more, less impressive offerings.

  2. No worries buddy! As you can see I’ve been a bit busy myself and not active on my blog or commenting on yours. Life happens…
Speaking of Superman, just yesterday I found out that Henry Cavill is presently in Slovenia where they are ready to film parts of season 3 of The Witcher. He actually posted a video on Instagram while doing cardio close to my father’s house in the Alps. So after Amazon’s Wheel of Time was filmed on the other side of the mountain pass, Slovenia is becoming a more popular location for fantasy series. 🙂

  3. Good luck with your interviews. And the posts, whenever possible. That’s how I deal with my posts. Whenever possible. And that’s good enough! 🙂

  4. Good luck with the job search. On a previous blog, I used to think I had to blog all the time, but that was thinking about who and how others responded. I handled over 30,000 followers and made a bit of loose change. But I believe it’s more important to do what you feel good about. If someone listens or reads, that’s fine. Take your time and share what you’re passionate about. A couple of films I’ve liked recently are “I’m No Longer Here” and “Blancanieves”. Check ’em out. Guess I’m an arty type. Lol.

    1. Thanks for the insight and movie recommendations, undeciduous. Your prior blog sounds like a full-time job in itself. That is a lot of fans! Did you share music and artwork there too?

  5. I certainly can’t be mad at you. I’ve been more and more absent this year. So I tend to agree with selizabryangmailcom about posting as and when you can. Especially since at certain times, the realities of life just have to be taken care of first. But, undoubtedly, the unsettled phase disappears in the rearview mirror. I hope June has been good to you so far.
