Meet EF (DOB: Oct. 2)

“Who are you?”

“Nobody has a clue, least of all me.”

—The Saint

Made some friends last post. Lost a few too, perhaps. Alas, “so it goes.” I’m trying to consolidate the breakthrough by giving you some tangible information about me, for your reference. Because I’ve learned that people like that. So, who is EF?

Ride My See Saw

“I can avoid being seen if I wish. But to disappear entirely, that is a rare gift.”

Ten years ago, I was naive enough to believe the EF alias might conceal my identity from the government I planned to criticize. AI reveals all, of course. However, I still prefer the pen name “EF,” or “Experience Film,” here. Why? IDK.

It just feels right. Besides, it keeps the ego in check. I don’t credit myself in my montages because I’m stealing so much from other artists’ work. I feel… icky. Just like I feel icky when I write political stuff. Beats bottling it all inside.

What I Do Here

I make the purest, most painstakingly rhythmic movie mashups you’ll find anywhere on the Internet. On average, I spend about one year of labor per hour of content here. And “content” is a dirty word.

The previous episode, “True Blue,” plays like a tantric martial arts dance recital. The forthcoming episode, “Reaping Day,” plays like a Hollywood blockbuster. Two very different experiences. Choose your preferred. Or hop on this train for both! We’re going places… In the mind only, at least😆

Personal Life

Cincinnati native. Middle brother to two beautiful sisters and an awesome brother-in-law— a sporty Nic Cage with a record collection. Older sister is an actress turned English teacher. “Cool uncle.” (Fist pump.) An unimpressive but ever-loving and ever-trying friend, son, etc. Sorry I’m such an introvert.

I have degrees in Psychology (B.S.) and Business Administration (minor), both from undergrad at UC. I later earned a Film Post-Production minor from Colorado Film School in 2021.

All Over the Place

Fool thinks he’s found a wife😂

I’ve bounced around more than a dozen careers since graduating in 2015. Everything from marketing, social work, essay scoring, delivery driving, bartending… even tennis pro.

When Mr. Orange took office in January 2017, I was homeless (car), wandering the beaches of Florida. By choice. It was the most empowering experience of my life: solving the logistics, maintaining employment, and being free of possessions. It was also the only time I’ve ever been able to save any money. That’s what it took😅

Here’s a photo of me at peak starving-artist. Taken a couple months after carpetbagging my sorry ass back from Denver, Colorado during COVID, into an asbestos apartment in the art district of my hometown.

Garbage

My baby sister is my legal guardian now. She has Down syndrome, and she’s the breadwinner of our household… We look after each other☺️ In truth, I work with some of her friends too, who also have disabilities. That’s my job now. Most of my income comes from the stipend I receive to live with my sister in her very first apartment.

This summer, 2026, just one year after moving in together, one year after uprooting my (sarcastically) glamorous, perfect life, the Republican Ohio State Congress decided, in its infinite wisdom, to ban all family members of adults with disabilities from providing paid services. Calling it fraud. LMAO.

It took about a year, and all kinds of paywall hurdles, just to obtain my license. And it took a flash mob of angry, desperately concerned citizens to force them to remove the clause from that bill the day before it was ratified.

(Sarcastic) Hey, Republicans, why create humanitarian crises on the far side of the world when you can create humanitarian crises right here?! … (Kill me). So now you know, this blogger’s grievances are personal. Oh and Democrats suck too, for the record.

Okayyy enough about me! Jeesh. Let’s end on a positive. My SOS “Message”—i.e., the previous post—escaped Big Brother’s dome! I was overcome with hope and gratitude because of the messages I received from all over the world. You found me! People I never expected to.
To my countrymen, I feel like a slutty dog at a pet party for throwing you under the bus last post. I hope you still love me. I think you are good people, and I call you friend… Most of you.
Some of you are actual bots lol.

Love, EF
