Episode 3 will be available next Friday, October 23, with the customary premiere the evening before…
It’s shaping up to be everything we hoped it could be— the Mon Mothma of montages! I won’t state the runtime or it’ll scare everyone away (Oops) True fans, let’s just say you can make an evening of it. A relaxing evening. A thrilling evening!
{ Ghorman is the creative catalyst for Sucker Punch AΩ: Episode III, an epic movie mashup coming 11/05/2026 10/23/26. Everyone has an angel… Who whispers from our heart…. They can speak through any character we can imagine. They’ll shout through demons if they have to. Daring us, challenging us to fight. }

A Second Above
Proud to announce that Episode 3 boasts an Average Shot Length of a lofty (by today’s standards) 3.91 seconds.
That’s a full second longer than the ASL of the movies it draws from: The Hunger Games (2.92 seconds) and Independence Day (2.78), for example. And it’s approaching double the ASL of Bay’s Armageddon (2.2).
Google, referencing Shot Logger, claims that The Hunger Games has an ASL of 3.59 seconds. That, my friends, is a big fat lie. I invested in cut-detection software to verify the numbers. It’s not even close. That figure misses a whopping 544 cuts. For the math to work out, you’d have to add a 32-minute-long take to the film.
EF used a variety of techniques to slow this edit down, favoring long takes over choppy jump cuts. Generative extended some clips, slowed others down while adding frames per second for smoother slow motion, and, in some cases, removed shots from the middle of scenes. That last technique was reserved exclusively for The Hunger Games.

The Role of AI
I won’t deny that AI played a major role in production, across nearly every area. Still, I spent a full year making this. Besides, not every VFX shot is AI-generated. And none of those shots were drag & drop ready for the movie. Each required alterations— usually significant ones, to make it fit seamlessly and believably into the film. This is a human story, supplemented by machine labor. If it were up to me I would destroy generative AI. But it’s not. And as long as it’s here I’m going to use it. That’s my personal stance. You can call it wishy washy. That’s fair. The bottom line is, I’m going all out (bags under my eyes) to deliver you the best possible experience here. That’s all I’ve ever done, and all I will continue to do.
Six Days Until Premiere.
It’s not done yet, but it will be. Be thankful you’re not EF this (Hell) week🤪 I think Episode 3 answers the big why. Why does this series exist in the first place. And it sets the stage for nothing short of an epic future— for everyone. I hope you’ll ‘go see’ this epic feature-length movie mashup. An experience unlike any other.
