Katelyn’s Questions and Experience Film’s Answers:

1) If you had a movie made about your life, what song would be playing during the final scene?

Dashboard by Modest Mouse. I live with my younger sister who has special needs, and that’s our song. We listen to it almost every day and I still don’t know the words. Because “the Dashboard melted but we still have the radio!”

2) When blogging, do you have to have a certain environment or can you sit where ever and and get straight to writing?

I’ve had modest success at various libraries and McCafe’s over the years. A new spot would be welcome. Going somewhere with intention is helpful.

3) What’s something you believe now that you didn’t believe a year ago?

Nothing… But I am reading books again.

4) Do you feel more like a map or a compass?

If the poles reverse I’ll be walking around on my hands. Do not look to me for directions. Look to my montages.

5) What’s one fast food place you will never eat at?

Arby’s… Except for the fries.

6) Are you good at building new habits? If not, what’s one habit you can’t break?

Typically not. I benefit from occasional substance use like amphetamines and psychedelics. They combat the lobotomy, help me to realize bad habits and open the door to new ones. And also help me remember old (good) habits I’d forgotten, such as that I enjoy playing guitar and that music is therapeutic… One habit I cannot break is Dark Chocolate😋

7) Where do you get the most inspiration from?

Music. As a filmmaker I am nothing without music, it is my map.

8) Would you rather always have time or always have energy?

“To be a rock and not to roll” is tragedy according to gospel.

9) If your personality was a color, what color would it be?

Golden Blue.

10) What animal resonates with you the most?

Whales.

11) How has 2026 been for you so far?

I’ve taken to the streets. It’s not about me.
