Fly, you fools!
Gandalf
I am flying. On a fluffy white cloud with rainbows shooting out my ass. I’m not manic, or arrogant. Justโฆ clear. Everything is clear now. And nothing bothers me.
I am most grateful for my health, and luck, which has afforded me this fleeting moment of peace. It could evaporate any second.
This must be the middle of life. The eye of the hurricane. My council beseeches me to brace for the back half of the shit storm as soon as possible, as the smiths load their dollar green harpoon guns and take aim. I just chuckle to myself. I think I’ll stay here a while๐

Fly like an eagle, mate! I also know a song from ABBA with the same title. ๐๐๐

I got to see the broadway production of Mama Mia in London with my parents and 2 sisters when I was a kid. Been a fan of Abba ever since.

Nice! I may not listen to their songs so often, but they were great musicians, without a doubt. ๐ฅฐ๐ค

I like the imagery of middle-life being the eye of the hurricane. Staying within that calm is the goal.

Staying within the calm. How to maximize our time in The Eye of the life Hurricane, right..
Just read your terrific meditation about Adaptations. Gaiman’s, The Sandman, and Where The Crawdaddy’s discussed brilliantly. I was liking Sandman, but got sidetracked. I will def finish that, and keep episode 6 in mind๐ฆ ๐

I hope you get a chance to finish The Sandman. There are a couple of mini-episodes that were released after it finished its run. Didn’t know if you knew that or not. Check those out as well if you get the opportunity, and thanks for the kind words on the post. Very much appreciated.
