No Kings 3.0

“This is what democracy looks like!”

Experience Film joined millions today in protesting the insane clown posse and its ring leader. Here are some shots from the march here in Cincinnati. My own sign was a pragmatic choice— reminded people of upcoming special election dates and not to vote for AIPAC candidates.

Blog Status Update

A new review season and montage is about to begin. I’m crawling out of a depression triggered by the war and a flu. Day by day I’m regaining my appetite and ability. So stay tuned. And may The Force be with you.

  1. Glad you’re spirits and health are on the mend. ❤️‍🩹 Your post reminds me:

    “Let us, then, be up and doing,
    With a heart for any fate;

    Still achieving, still pursuing
    Learn to labor and to wait.” HWL

  2. Glad to hear the event seems to have passed without event – I had seen news coverage of the NK marches a few months back and the worry about “policing” of such parades.
    And I think I must be having an effect on you….May the Force be with you!

      1. I’m definitely looking forward to more SW. And regards to Kill Bill… a TV cable channel named Film4 just showed Part 2 again and I managed to see it in full! Only problem is that I got a good look at Bill’s katana in a few shots and I could probably do a version of his hilt with little modification of Thurman’s hilt.

        P.S. I’d never use Jedi Mind Tricks on you!

  3. I was at the Cincinnati protest, too, and recognize that sign in your header photo. It felt good to be expressing my anger and disgust with like-minded people here in Cincy. Here’s hoping for a little positive progress come November.

  4. My friend prefers to call these “No Fascists” marches because, he says, “We haven’t got a king yet, but we already have fascists.” I can’t say he’s wrong, but “No Kings” is a lot catchier of a name, and it accomplishes the same thing …

    1. On the mend, off to a darker start/ tone so far this season but feeling better. Thanks for the well wishes my friend. I hope your Easter was lovely. Mine was good. Easter egg hunt with the niece and nephew and commemorated my late grandparents 🥂

      1. YES! It seems like a lot of protest and other song messages from the late 60’s & early 70’s are still valid and valuable.
