Tundra 8: Mojo Dojo

“Remember, remember the Fifth of November.”

Release Dates, Runtime and Episode Title are here.

Anarchy in The U.S. but EF is feeling gay as a Christmas tree because today I am announcing that the first room of Ken’s Mojo Dojo dream house, i.e., the first six minutes of Sucker Punch AΩ Episode 2, is nearly finished, and will be available for viewing November 5! Two plus months ahead of the full episode, coming ~January 23, 2026.

Promised a fast start this episode. We’re hitting the ground dancing, to a track so rhythmic it’s hazardous. The scene— it’s a worthy introduction to the project as a whole, contains a thesis statement.

The full episode will be available for Aquarius season. Like Episode One, the approx. 45 min Episode 2 will be divided into 2 parts. The first part will be more bubbly. The second part, moody as Hell.

And now, the title reveal. Drum roll please🥁………… The title of Sucker Punch AΩ Episode 2, a year in the making and counting, is… “Independence Day.” Yes the 1996 movie will play a pivotal role but maybe not in the way you expect.

Now it’s off to friends time tonight. Thanks for visiting and would love to see you back for the first premiere November 5. (Psst., it might be out a little sooner😉)

    1. So good you mention that. I am graphic novel illiterate and it’s a problem lol. Luckily the movie versions fill in at least some of the gaps… Comedian’s funeral scene form Watchmen will be in the montage— the long pull back shot of the cemetery. Taken out of context (of course). Different music track.

    1. And A Chorus Line😅 Lol Thanks!👍

Eclectic lineup for sure. I’ve learned to either keep the number of movies small but similar to each other, Or just smash the genre limiter altogether. You start cranking it up and you run into montage no-man’s land, where the movies compete with one another. But go far enough (remove the contextual constraint) and you land back in a happy place… At least in this crazy editor’s head.

  1. I remember ‘cracker night’ as a kid, having a helluva a good time,, bonfires in the street, sky rockets flyin everywhere until it was banned sometime in the eighties —

  2. Hey look, it’s Mon Mothma! I enjoyed S2 of Andor but I will cop to being a little nonplussed by that whole big dance scene at the wedding. I guess it did serve a narrative purpose in the end though. Looking forward to seeing everyone get down and boogie in your upcoming video!

    1. Same, nonplussed. But ya gotta love the ambition, right; dances are rare in the Galaxy Far Far away. In the show They had to cross-cut between the dance and Cassian’s peeps being found / invaded on that wheat farm planet… The cross cuts occur over a solid 20+ min period and it’s pretty jarring going back and forth. But honestly, IDK how else they could’ve done it (except via montage😉) Bc if you stay on the wedding too long viewers get bored… It’s going to be a boogie to remember! Thanks!

  3. Okay, I read Tundra 1 blog, as you know, but I’m way behind the loop here, so when I go back and read 2 through 6, I won’t comment ’cause it’s already past commentary, lol. But now we have a release date here! Nov. 5 !!! Holding my breath with anticipation, E.F. Which means I’m gonna die, ’cause nobody can hold their breath that long, so it’s on you, lol. Seriously, tho. Early congrats! PS: Thank you for your review!! And also–I left you a message in FB! I don’t think you ever go in there, but take a gander if you get a sec!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    1. Hey Stacey, HahAH! Love the enthusiasm😊 Don’t worry about reading the rest of Tundra— series is more of an ongoing brainstorm session than it is a finished product. Happy to assist with the spreading the good news about you and your hubby’s new book🙂
