“Harry looked around at the houses again. They were standing outside number eleven; he looked to the left and saw number ten; to the right, however, was number thirteen… (Then) a battered door emerged out of nowhere between numbers eleven and thirteen… It was as though an extra house had inflated, pushing those on either side out of its way” (Rowling, 59).
EF just obtained a crisp new copy of Harry Potter 5: Order of The Phoenix from his new local book store. More on that fantastic experience later… Sufficed to say for now that 12 Grimmauld Place is Harry’s godfather, Sirius Black’s family home, and Headquarters for The Resistance.

Snap-to the series at hand. And<[ Insert edit ]>an entire episode. Sandwiched between Episodes One and, what I thought would be Two. Not before a worthy resolution to the Episode One cliffhanger.

The Bride and O-Ren Ishii have unfinished business. In the frozen zen garden at The House of Blue Leaves. And this boss battle happens to be the perfect backdrop for an even greater struggle. If Episode One spanned four and a half years of this story, Episode Two will span four and half minutes. God willing, it should feel like eternity.

I feel like you were the perfect age when Harry Potter craze was at its peak. Am I right? 🧙♂️

Perfect indeed— I am the exact age as Harry and his friends! The actors, that is 👍

HaHA Yeahh Philosophy and critical thinking are frowned upon in the U.S.😅😭
You-Know-Who is presently trying to change the name “Department of Defense” to “Department of WAR” I couldn’t help but notice the resemblance to this Title disparity situation.

Half-Blood Prince is my favorite book and movie out of the series, with Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows being close seconds. I started reading them right when I turned 11 (as is law), and re-read them my senior year of high school. Tears were shed! Sirius Black is my favorite of the Marauders, I have his wand from Universal Studios.Tell us about the book store!

Haha that’s a good law!📙 Goblet of Fire is still my fav book. Don’t think I’ve been more Lost in a book than when Harry enters the Dragon arena for the first Event. Pure Magic… I just went to Hogwarts Universal for first time early 2024 but didn’t get a wand🤩 I can’t wait to go back!🚂✌️

I remember reading the Harry Potter series back in the day and thinking it was all right. Then Order of the Phoenix arrived and things got much, much darker, and ever so much better …

Yeah Harry splits Draco Malfoy’s face open with a sectumsempra spell in 6 and I was like, “we’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto.”

I didn’t read the books until 2010. However, I remember The Prisoner of Azkaban being my favorite.
This one also had Sirius Black (if I recall). Wasn’t the major plot of his character the focus of this installment?
In the films, isn’t he portrayed by Gary Oldman?
Christ! 15 years and I recall so little. I guess I will give reread after I finish rereading the Eragon series 🤓

How funny that you mentioned the Bride and O-Ren and their unfinished business. I just referred to their final showdown in the frozen zen garden in Book 3 of my paranormal comedy series Day for Night. I was just working on it in the library this weekend, working on that very scene. I SO adore that fight, btw. It was fantastic, wasn’t it?

I adore the look Uma Thurman gets on her face right before she finishes her. Like broken-hearted, betrayed by a friend. She accepts O-Ren’s apology but the wheel of Karma cannot be stopped… Glad to hear you’re hacking away at Book 3 of Day for Night… AND I started DeadTime. Harry’s Badass. He kicks that robot to the curb. He just went into the Geisha House in NYC—*hard*💥🎎😄

Ha! The wheel of karma, indeed! It’s time, O-Ren. It’s time…
As for Harry–eeee! How cool! Thanks so much for taking the time, EF. I hope you continue enjoying Harry’s bad-assery! lol

Sweet find. We’ve had a rekindling of Pottermania at my house, although I suspect it will be short-lived as my two littles find themselves on the brink of.. is this too scary for us? As for me, I’m a Never-ending Story gal. 📕🐢I also get gushy of Phantom Tollbooth 🚗⏱️🐕. Are you familiar with those?

Never-ending story and Phantom Tollbooth are whimsies I aspire to, though not very hip to them. Thanks for reminding me about those gems📙☎
