A Way of Life

My life is a joke. I owe it to myself and everyone I care about to acknowledge what a failure I have become. Materially and financially. And yet here I lay, in total harmony with destiny, with God – a vehicle for your deceased kin. How did you miss this? We ask. The 10% that matters 50 – The way of spirituality.

Yesterday I discovered Tai Chi – a way of life for near half the world, and yet a complete mystery to this 33 year-old caucasion American. The one practice which can now save me I was never taught – never even suggested in my education. We learned math and science, reading and writing, yes. No mention of nature, of culture, of center of being. No instruction for how to manage energy. What a glaring omission!

I am dealing with a heart chakra blockage. And I alone hold the power, to visualize, to implement the solution. But you would advise me to see a specialist, to take a beta blocker or some kind of medication. Because your fear me finding my own power!

I am heartbroken. Shattered. And you would profit from my weakness. Fuck you.

  1. Wisdom from the Far East is a remarkable knowledge that people in the West are still ignorant of, even if there are some practices here or there. Dr. Jung mentioned it with the words: “The unity of these two, life and consciousness, is the Tao. ” Tai Chi must be accommodating, my friend. I might try it, too. However, it needs enough time.

  2. Strange coincidence I saw a video recently about practical self defense application of tai chi. From my limited point of view the tai chi we see taught today consists of mostly katas accompanied by warmup and stretching exercises. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ll endorse any form of MA that is practiced in a way of not harming yourself. Just stick to it and you’ll find a companion for life!
