The planet can only sustain 1.3 billion American lifestyles. I was reading Sir Ken Robinson’s book, Creative Schools (He gave a viral TED talk about it some years ago) and he offers this sobering statistic. Poor butterflies!

The book “The World Without Us” was an interesting look at what would happen if all the humans suddenly disappeared. (It got ripped off by a television series called “Earth Without People” or something like that.) Anyway, Metric is right, it’s clearly never gonna be enough; I’ll see you a “Gold Guns Girls” and raise you a “Speed the Collapse”.
