We HAVE A Sex Scene💋

That’s good news for you, bad news for the editor (me), as this new addition adds even more to the workload of this epic Dark Night montage. If you have not seen the trailer yet, I implore you to check it out. If you are a fan of these movies, this is for you!

One of the mashed-up films (I’ll give you 2 guesses which one) has a particularly steamy scene that I didn’t have a place for in the montage… Until now.

I’m cross cutting it with another famous scene from one of the films, and putting a whole different (and very famous) music track over the whole thing. This means I have to re-choreograph dancing, and perform major reconstructive surgery on the sound. In addition to finessing the emotions, of course.

Sex is both friend and enemy in this film. If you decide to watch you’ll find it portrayed as a subject of terror at certain times, but enjoyment at others. And isn’t that how it is really? Let’s save the morality for another discussion.

We’re trying to feel things here. And I can assure you, I will leave no stone unturned to bring you a compelling cinematic experience. Hope you tune in for the premiere Feb 14 2022!

  1. There’s a great divide in film between the sex industry and the mainstream industry. At some time in this century that divide will probably be bridged, as public morality continues to erode.

    1. The real power of film, as with all art really, is its ability to incite thoughts and emotions within its audience… With sleight of hand, right? Rush doesn’t sing, “Fame is hard. Oh no! There are cameras following me everywhere!” No, they sing, “Living in the limelight, the universal dream
For those who wish to see. Those who wish to be, must put aside the alienation. Get on with the fascination,
the real relation, the underlying theme…” Spinning lyrics which we can mull over to figure it out… EROTICISM is film’s power when it comes to sex. Evoke the desire within, but don’t show us everything. Just as with good horror – it’s about SUSPENSE. Mystery. If you lose the mystery you lose the power of sex.
